What the UID represents
A UID certifies that:- The participant passed KYC/KYB and AML.
- Their identity has been verified and linked to a wallet.
- They are recognized as a single, distinct entity inside the protocol.
- They are cleared to access pools that require verified participants.
How participants obtain a UID
- The entity completes KYC/KYB verification with the onboarding provider.
- Once approved, the protocol issues a non-transferable UID token to their wallet.
- The wallet holding the UID gains access to pools or features that require verified status.
- If the participant later becomes ineligible (e.g., sanctions hit, compliance breach), the UID can be revoked.
The UID is the starting point for trust inside Aion-fi, a simple credential that ensures every participant is known, unique, and authorized to operate.
