The UID is the credential that confirms a participant has been properly verified and is eligible to operate inside Aion-fi’s permissioned flows. It is a non-transferable NFT issued after onboarding that ensures unique, verified participants, prevents fraud, and enables compliance for gated pool access.

What the UID represents

A UID certifies that:
  • The participant passed KYC/KYB and AML.
  • Their identity has been verified and linked to a wallet.
  • They are recognized as a single, distinct entity inside the protocol.
  • They are cleared to access pools that require verified participants.
It acts as an access key issued only after completing all checks, and it cannot be moved or traded.

How participants obtain a UID

  1. The entity completes KYC/KYB verification with the onboarding provider.
  2. Once approved, the protocol issues a non-transferable UID token to their wallet.
  3. The wallet holding the UID gains access to pools or features that require verified status.
  4. If the participant later becomes ineligible (e.g., sanctions hit, compliance breach), the UID can be revoked.
The UID is the starting point for trust inside Aion-fi, a simple credential that ensures every participant is known, unique, and authorized to operate.
